PhoneGap course overview

PhoneGap allows you to build native mobiles apps for mobile platforms such as iPhone, Android, Windows Phone and Blackberry using web standards like HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. Some of the features that PhoneGap supports are camera, compass, contacts, files, geolocation and media etc.

Phone Gap supports the following platforms:

• Bada
• Symbian
• OS 5.x

This PhoneGap app development course is designed to discuss advanced PhoneGap app development. After completing our PhoneGap app training course you would be able to build applications using PhoneGap. The complete course is hands-on based.

At the end of the course we will built a practical PhoneGap App in the class. This app development project will ensure that you can build your own apps for iPhone and Google Android.

This short classroom based PhoneGap course is hands-on and instructor-led. This training can be taken as a part-time evening course, during the week or even on the weekends. 6. 5-days Front-End Development (Optional, required if you would like to use lates frameworks and build a mobile website as well)

7. 4-days Advanced HTML5 and CSS3 (Optional, required for apps that will use advanced features)

Prerequisites for PhoneGap course

• A good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 is required.  You can get a good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 by taking our HTML5 and CSS3 course.
• It is necessary to have to have practical experience of JavaScript and jQuery. Training Dragon’s JavaScript & jQuery Course can provide an insight into javascript and jQuery.
• It would be helpful to have have some experience of building website for mobile phone. You can learn mobile website design on our mobile web design course and BootStrap course.
