Traditionally, Apple became known for selling and designing consumer electrics, computers and software. Their most widely used product has become the Macintosh line of computers which includes the iPad, iPhone and iPod. The renowned Mac OS X operating systems are integrated onto these devices alongside iTunes and iLife which provides a mixture of creativity applications. Interestingly they have become known as the main publically traded business in the globe by market capitalization. As a result they have been able to employ 60,400 full time staff and 2,900 temporary across the world and gather impressive sales totalling to $108.249 billion in 2011.
